Montessori believed that when children enter the program they are to begin with the simpler activities and then progress to more challenging materials.

Practical Life Activities :
• Pouring from one pitcher to another.
• Self-care tasks such as hanging & folding clothes or brushing hair.
• Polishing and cleaning different surfaces
• Handling a book.


Sensorial Activities:
• Exploring size and dimension with a series of cylinder blocks that fit into precise holes
based on their size.
• Using smelling jars and tasting cups.
• Discriminating by touch a variety of fabrics.

Cultural Domains:
Children explore concepts such as
Land and water,Maps ,Plant life cycles,
Geography andNature.

Language Activities:
Exploring pictures,Books,Sounds.
Exploring written word through tracing sandpaper letters,Group dialogues.

Mathematics:
Bean sorting and counting,Number cards Memory games using numbers.
