Teachers
understand the social, ethical, legal, and human issues surrounding the
use of
technology in PK-12 schools and apply those principles in practice.
Teachers:
A.
Model and teach legal and ethical practice related to technology use.
B. Apply technology resources to enable and empower learners with
diverse
backgrounds, characteristics, and abilities.
C. Identify and use technology resources that affirm diversity.
D. Promote safe and healthy use of technology resources.
E. Facilitate equitable access to technology resources for all students.
Level met: Proficient (consistent, appropriate application, a solid performance)
Rationale: In order to keep parents involved with their children's learning, I have created a newsletter that I plan on sending home every month. This will keep parents aware of what we are doing in class and it will also be another way of keeping them in contact with me. I believe that a child's education is dependant upon everyone in society, so if there is a solid base between parents and teachers, then the child has a better chance of succeding within this crazy world.
