Finally we are no one.

I seem to be lacking motivation to do much of anything lately. I skipped three out of four morning classes this week, simply because I didn't have the energy to get out of bed. I just slept. This is me in winter. Hooray?

I wish I had something interesting to write about. Alas, I am wanting. Last weekend I buried my grandfather, and that was not a good time. This week I have no energy or motivation to do anything. Next week will probably be no different.

Samuel Alito is going to be nominated to the Supreme Court, and I have one less reason to love this country. I've sent a letter to the editor to about 12 different newspapers, local, regional, and national. I've called and written Congress. I fucking hate that I still feel helpless.

In other news, I love the Global Bazaar.

Could these crazy people be vegetarian?

At work this past weekend, I encountered a rather eccentric man. I helped him return some towels and washcloths that he thought were god-awful, and he was right. Whoever bought them for him spent a lot of money on a lot of ugly.

He and his equally as eccentric wife returned tonight to spend some of their store credit. Everything was going as usual, and then they asked me where they could find vegetarian belts. Let me say that I've never before had anyone ask me about vegetarian belts, so this came as quite a surprise. "Could these crazy people be vegetarian?" Indeed, they were.

For all of five minutes we talked about veganism, fake leather, and mall etiquette with enough rapidity and casual tangents to make the Gilmore Girls proud.

After they left, I concluded that these middle-aged, hyperactive vegetarians probably did a lot of drugs in their hippie youth, and I smiled.

Zzzzz.

I've been sleeping so much lately.

Let's see. Saturday I slept a good nine hours, and after I came back from an hour of work, I took a four-hour nap. Sunday, whilst recovering from Saturday night, I slept about twelve hours total. Last night I only got about five hours, but after I went to work and realized I wasn't supposed to go in until 3:30, I came home and slept for four more hours.

I'm still tired. However, all this sleep has been lovely. I love to sleep more than I love a lot of things!
