EDMT330 Class Webpage for Dean Stevens
A Little About Me	I am from Monroe, Michigan. I live in Willis, Michigan. I work at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research as a Financial Specialist. I enjoy painting miniature figures, role playing games, gardening, hiking, reading, sugar gliders and photography. I am really good with MS Access. I am a pivot table guru. I hope to teach history and social studies. I am a Post BA and will finish my teaching certificate Winter 2009.
My Teaching Philosophy	I am a very enthusiastic teacher and learner. I try to spread my enthusiasm in the classroom environment. I believe teaching and learning are a team effort. It is my goal to guide students toward understanding that history and social studies are fun, interesting and relevant subjects for them. I believe that technology is a wonderful interactive component to student learning and will be using technology frequently in relation to the topics we will cover in the classroom. Students will learn to explore the world through the internet and will learn to use new technologies as they explore new subjects.
