The Task

You are one of the teachers the curriculum director of Fairfield Middle School has invited to a meeting about developing a set of model lessons on how to integrate technology into teaching. Your job is to work through a set of activities (see next web page) to become experts on the issues and design of WebQuests. Your goal is to develop the model lessons so that you can use them to put together a Professional Development session for other teachers in your school.

You will be considering a range of aspects about WebQuests in terms of instructional effectiveness and integration of technology. Your committee will have the length of afternoon's session to explore the topic and will have specific tasks to complete. At the end of the session, you will report what you have learned and show your examples.
