Teaching Methodology

Candidates will apply effective methods and strategies for teaching the use of technology tools.

5.2.1         demonstrate methods for teaching hypermedia development, scripting, and/or computer programming in a problem- solving context in K-12 schools.

5.2.3         demonstrate methods for teaching uses of media-based tools, such as television, audio, print media, and graphics.

WHAT I DID TO ACCOMPLISH THIS: I became a member of the Discovery Education Network. The main responsibility is to provide professional development on the use of United Streaming and its parts for fellow educators.

LIST OF ACTIVITIES THAT SUPPORT MY NARRATIVE:

Provided hands-on professional development for teachers and staff at Garfield on the following:

1. United Streaming access and use.

2. How to use video and images from United Streaming in MS Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
