To all visitors, this is my latest attempt at a web page. the previous ones had a lot to be desired. This page is an on going project for EDMT 628 at EMU. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a full time teacher. This year I am the technology/computer teacher for our school (K-6). I am excited about this year so far. I have been in the Common Learnings program at Eastern for the last few years. I am just one elective course and the seminar from my Master's. I have decided to add the Educational Media Technology certificate as I have been caught up in the integration of technology in education. Of course, I have the legal responsibility to be "highly qualified" in teaching technology and computers.
sites to learn about web design
This site has a great step by step explaination of how build a web page works. It is not really meant for designing your own page per say but it is informative. There are many links to other pages that are related to web page design.
Web page that lists a fair number of sites and resourses that deal with designing a web page. The focus is on kids, parents, and teachers. It also contains sites that have templates, layouts, and graphics. The WebKIDS site looks well thought out and is aimed at teens. Their tutorial is set up into lessons.
This site is very simple and straight forward. There are only seven steps in the process to make your own web page. I like how clear the directions are. The sample page shows what has been done in the steps that you have followed.
