I have put together part of a coursepack for English 422. It should be available by about August 24, 2000 (from Ned's only). Note: we will not be meeting on the first day of class. The coursepack contains endless instructions which are of little significance but essential in helping me keep track of things. We'll discuss them on Tuesday. The first assignment (due Thursday) will be a discussion of the first page of a novel you should recognize instantly.

| There are many links to materials on how to improve writing. This is not a complete list of course. |
