I have a few goals for my page. Since I will be graduating after the fall semester I would like to showcase some of my writing. I donŐt have time to do an internship or work for the ECHO so I will not have many writing examples to put into a portfolio. Since I will not have an extensive portfolio I have to find a creative way to capture future employers attention. I hope to do that with this website. I want my employers to look at my page and get a sense of who I am and get a sense of how I write. So ultimately I want this to be a resume like page that showcases my personality as well as my writing in order to capture the attention of those I will be interviewing for.
I intend to use fewer graphics and more writings. I may put up a few pictures of myself doing MMA and wrestling but only to exemplify my ability to work hard and achieve goals. I feel for a resume tool this page should have little graphics, be uncluttered and easily accessible, and captivate my employer not turn my employer away.
This and the technical objectives pretty much have the same goals. I am doing this page as a resume tool therefore it will be geared toward capturing future employers as my audience. No cute or fun graphics. I wan this to be straightforward and mature. I want everything to be easy to read and easy to get to. Everything will be uniformed and consistent so as to not confuse anyone or discriminately hide things that should be seen.
