This genre is intended to point out the importance of a good realation between student and professor.In my experience as a student, getting to know all the professors in the department of my major has helped me not only with my academic studies but also financially. One professor with some infulence helped me get a job in the computer science department. Another professor helped me get into the UG symposium which makes me eligible for scholarships and increases my chances of getting into graduate school. Also just the pleasure of know such interesting people can be very rewarding in itself. So I encourage all students to take some time and get to know your professors! Home
