Independent study: Client-side tools for easy web development - Winter 2007
Designed a site layout for Pudiyador, which is a non-profit organization based in India.
Reviewed various wiki engines, and developed the Pudiyador site using PmWiki

Website Development - Summer 2006
Department of Computer Science website:
Designed and developed the department of Computer Science website at Eastern Michigan University using XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop

Database Principles - Winter 2006
Implemented a mini-world database
Features included:
1. Parsing the user query
2. Implementaion of SQL like queries using flat-file system

Operating Systems - Winter 2006
1. Simulated a Scheduler (with and without I/O) using Java Threads
2. Simulated FIFO, LRU, LFU and Optimal Paging techniques

E-Commerce - Fall 2005
Search Engine:
Implemented 'static search engine' using Java, PHP, and MySQL technology
Features included:
1. Search for an image based on keywords

Shopping Cart:
Simulated a mini-world Shopping Cart using JSP, Javascript, and MySQL technology
Features included:
1. Search for an item based on keywords
2. Item can be placed on sale
3. Images of the items on sale can be uploaded by the seller
4. Item can be viewed and purchased
5. Notification to Buyer and Seller via email upon a purchase and/or sale
