A brief little history of Ultimate Frisbee in the breeding ground of Ypsilanti (where the gangstas now play ultimate to settle disputes)...

Alas, in the illustrious year of 2001, the city of Ypsilanti as well as Eastern Michigan University stood in desperation for they did not have what was called Ultimate, or Ultimate Frisbee. That is, until 2 Super Seniors came from proverbially nowhere, or as we call it, U of M.

...founded what is now known as EMU Ultimate-Fighting Hellfish! The fabled Super Seniors John Saylor and the now retired 'Swede' would go on to bring about the greatest team in EMU Ultimate history. Starting out with a rough beginning year, EMU Ultimate (Then known as 'Alias') came in almost dead last in the Michigan Section. Better days would come ahead because Elliot was no longer on the team. Next year, they finished in a new record, 5th place at Michigan Sectionals, while playing a well-fought and (somewhat) close game against Number 1 seed Michigan State. This year starts off a new year for the newly named Hellfish with many great things to come...
Swede we love and miss you. Saylor, we hate you and we'll bagel you.
