Job Title: Director of Finance

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the daily accounting and financial operations of the association.
  2. Preparation of financial statements.
  3. Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports.
  4. Monitor accounting procedures, budgeting, and computerized information system.
  5. Implement fund accounting system.
  6. Internal controls.
  7. Contract and grant compliance.
  8. Investment activities.

Knowledge/Experience Required:

BA in accounting (or BBA), advanced degree, CPA, CMA helpful. At least five years experience with nonprofit organizations. Experience with computerized accounting systems (particular software experience may be desired). Strong people/project management skills. Professional level knowledge of accounting, auditing, and budgeting, word processing, database and spreadsheets. Excellent communicational and problem solving skills.
