On your journey, you will have to pay attention to many things because you will face many challenges. You will need to know what food you will be eating and how you will get the food.

Using the websites provided below complete the following tasks.

When you are traveling you will certainly need to eat. However, since you are on the road you will have to hunt for your food. You may also need to make tools to catch your meal.

Create a chart that identifies the types of animals and fish that you might catch and include the types of hunting tools you might use to catch the animal or fish. 

For example, if you want to catch a fish you need a stick or something with a sharp point so that you can pierce the flesh of the fish.

Include at least 5 different type of animals and fish along with a picture of each type.

Your journey to the North will be long and you may not always have time to stop and hunt for food. Fortunately, there will be plants that you can eat.

Create a cookbook that has at least 5 edible plants and 5 inedible plants along with their names and pictures. Include anything else about cooking or identifying edible plants that you think might be helpful on your journey.

As you know escaping from slavery is dangerous. You might get bitten by something, step on poison ivy, get shot, or who knows what. However, Mother Nature has provided us with herbs that can be used as medicine.

Create a first aid manual that has at least 10 medicinal herbs. Include the names and pictures of the herbs, medicinal quality of the herbs and where you might find them. Include anything else you think might be helpful on your journey.
