Site Revisions

During the tedious revision of my web page, I had a very hard time uploading the things that I wanted on the page and along with the things that I wanted I was also busy trying to make sure that I didn’t have unnecessary or sucky things on my page according the Sucky to Savvy web site. I had no idea that there was website etiquette that should be followed in order to have a site that is pleasing to your audience. My first endeavor with my site was really pretty easy until we received further instructions. In the beginning I was unaware that the page was going to have to look halfway professional, I guess I was under the impression that we were composing some juvenile site with maybe a few pictures on it, boy was I wrong.

The very first draft of my site was pretty simple, it had a few links on it, a few pictures, and a little text. There was also a little man telling site visitors that it was under construction, and according to Sucky to Savvy that was a no, no. After making the first page of my site a bit more pleasing to the eye I had to consider my audience. This task wasn’t as hard as thought it would be, because I found it clearly much more easier to just plain be “politically correct” so to speak, which should make my site good for everyone. The rest is history. The format of the page was pretty much laid out for us by our professor, there was to be a personal section and a professional section.

I think that when constructing a page like this revisions can really never be done finished, there seems to always be something that could use some improvement.
