Response: I really realized
the value of assessment and technology. In this semester I have
used Microsoft office to make graphs displaying results and statistics
of students' tests. Also we learned how to make a data table in
microsoft excel and turn that into a graph. These were both very
helpful. Another resource I encountered was using a rubric.
In this case I was able to log on to Rubistar.4teaches.org
to create a rubric. This web site is extremely helpful and easy
to use. Another resource is the online discussion that we used in
class. This is a great way for students to participate in
discussion without feeling embarrassed to speak in front of the
class. It also makes it easier to view other's perspectives and
are always there to look back.
