Having these is a good road to explore the mix of light and materials.
The key to breaking out of the mold is
to explore unique typographic forms.
Still needing practice here.
This aspect helped a lot as it reminds me that
I never have to start with a blank slate.
As I explored I found a way to use models of type to
add cooking paste and seasoning. This did yield some interesting results.
Having some extra lights, I tried to break out of the normal white lighting.
This maybe good for future projects but not so for this one.
Besides trying to figure forms, the added aspects of processing
the type was interesting. Very beneficial to expand my craft in other areas.
Exploration is something that should take time and help the process.
I learned that here with making every part of this project
Being able to work with these forms called for a unique use of tools.
My old screenprinting tools helped out with folding forms like with the flour letters.
Over all this assignment has been good for me as a designer.
It both keeps the fire burning and a new method in my arsenal is what I gain out this no matter the grade
