The Very Hungry Caterpillar

My name is Jennifer Rohde.  I am a math major and early childhood minor.  I have designed my lesson so that there are several independent lessons that can all be tied to the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  The themes include: how to have a healthy lifestyle, rainbow colors, and the lifecycle of a butterfly.  It is my goal to write a lesson for each week throughout the year that is tied to one fiction book.  From this book I will connect several nonfiction books as well as topics relating to the content areas and the fine arts including music, movement education and art.
